Court Closure October 29, 2019

The Sonoma County Superior Court (the Court) will be closed for regular business tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, 2019.  The Court’s facilities are located in the mandatory evacuation zone and the Court is closing for the safety of the public and its employees.

All jurors are excused from reporting on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. All jurors should check the Court’s website on Tuesday, October 28, 2019 after 5:00 p.m. for their Wednesday, October 30, 2019 reporting status.  

All hearings scheduled for Tuesday,October 29, 2019 will be rescheduled for a later date. 

During this closure, the Court is making arrangements to have all emergency ex parte applications and emergency requests for temporary restraining orders heard, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Petaluma Courthouse located at 11 English Street in Petaluma.  The Petaluma Clerk’s Office will be staffed from 10:00 a.m.to 3:30 p.m.for these matters only. Please check this page for updates on where emergency matters will be heard. 

All Court users are advised to check this page on Tuesday evening for updates regarding the Court’s status for Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
