Professor Ellias’s article, “Bankruptcy Hardball,” which examines several bankruptcy case studies in which debtors leverage the bankruptcy process to gain a strategic advantage over creditors, will serve as a springboard for a lively discussion about the role of bankruptcy courts in advancing or curtailing the ability of debtors to restructure obligations to creditors and other constituents.
