Topics IP disputes are challenging to settle early in the life of a dispute. Accordingly, mediation efforts are often delayed, frequently triggering unintended consequences, lost opportunities and unrecoverable sunk costs. It need not be this way. The speakers will outline strategies to resolve IP disputes more efficiently through tested early dispute resolution (EDR) initiatives and examples of earlier diagnosis and resolution of all forms of IP disputes. While one size does not fit all, patterns, similarities and opportunities will emerge, prompting practical ideas applicable to most IP disputes.
