Juvenile Justice is a complex system. Disparities that exist among youth based on sex, race/ethnicity, sexual identity, and other factors put some youth at an increased risk for negative health and life outcomes. Join a panel of experts for a discussion re the current juvenile justice system, available resources, effective strategies and advocacy for youth in Alameda County.


Pursuant CA Rules of Court Rule 5.664. To remain eligible for appointment to represent delinquent youth, attorneys must engage in annual continuing education. This program qualifies toward this MCLE requirement.

Detection, prevention, diversion, and rehabilitation

Youth crimes, trends, and special victims

Alcohol or drug concerns, sexual behavior, violence victimization, and mental health Education concerns
