Too often, companies view data protection as an obstacle to the business objective of maximizing profits. Given that data is the new commodity, why would anyone choose to limit the power to data analytics? This makes it difficult to justify spending resources for a privacy team tasked with meeting national and international compliance requirements.
This program aims to discuss the benefits of data privacy compliance, including maintaining consumer trust, ensuring brand loyalty, and avoiding heavy fines. It will also discuss how departments throughout an organization must work together to align business objectives with regulatory limitations.
