Don't Be Afraid of GDPR: Privacy Tips for Small to Medium Size Businesses
On the heels of the Facebook Cambridge Analytica story came the news that the massive EU data privacy law was operational as of May 25th, 2018. While much attention focused on big tech and ad platforms, the law also applies to a large number of US businesses regardless of size. This program offers tips on how smaller and less visible organizations can be confident that their management of personal data will withstand GDPR scrutiny. This program will also compare & contrast GDPR with newly passed California Consumer Privacy Act.
Light lunch provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.
