The public has taken a renewed interest in workplace investigations in light of highly publicized current events including the #MeToo movement. While an effective workplace investigation can help insulate an organization from liability, a weak investigation can increase legal exposure and reputational damage. This panel will discuss how to conduct an appropriate investigation in this ever-changing landscape, ways to mitigate risk through workplace investigations, and litigation strategies for challenging or defending an investigation.
Topics
• New developments in workplace investigations
• Best practices for investigating alleged harassment and misconduct
• Challenging or defending workplace investigations in litigation
