The speakers will discuss the purpose of making motions in limine and when to use them in the context of family law proceedings.

Stephen Hamilton
Stephen D. Hamilton has been an attorney for 23 years, with a practice devoted almost exclusively to family law for 21 of those years. His practice is based in Arroyo Grande, California. He has been a Certified Specialist in Family Law since 2004. Stephen is a member of the California Lawyers Association Family Law Executive Committee, serving as the current Legislation Chair.He is FLEXCOM’s chair elect for 2018-2019. Stephen previously served as Assistant Editor of the Family Law News and Editor of Family Law News Monthly. Stephen is a member of ACFLS and serves on the ACFLS Outreach and Amicus Committees, and the Chair of the San Luis Obispo County Family Law Section.
Lisa McCall
Lisa R. McCall is a Certified Family Law Specialist at the Law Office of Dorie A. Rogers, APC, who focuses her practice on family law litigation and family law appeals and writs. She has served as the Orange County Bar Association Appellate Section Chair and taught Appellate Advocacy as an adjunct professor at Whittier Law School.Ms. McCall currently serves on the Orange County Bar Association Family Law Executive Board, the ACFLS Amicus Committee, the ACFLS Orange County Board as Secretary, and the Editorial Committee of ACFLS Family Law Specialist.
