Learn the underlying causes of hoarding, why it is a disability that raises fair housing issues, how to recognize it, how to identify the health and safety issues associated with hoarding and strategies for effectively handling a hoarding situation in a residential rental property.

Lynn Dover entered the practice of law in 1987 and has practiced exclusively in the field of residential landlord-tenant law since 1989. Lynn is currently the managing partner of the Fair Housing Practice Group at Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP. Since joining the firm in 2002, her practice has been solely in the field of fair housing with an emphasis on disability-related accommodations and modifications. She has extensive experience dealing with issues involving hoarding and has attended and been a presenter at the Mental Health Association of San Francisco’s annual Hoarding and Cluttering Conference.
