Effective August 30, 2018, safe harbor warnings under Proposition 65 must, among other things, identify a specific chemical that is the subject of the warning. This program will feature experienced Proposition 65 attorneys, including a panelist who brings claims against businesses under Proposition 65. The panelists will offer information and perspectives about how to comply with Prop 65’s new safe harbor warnings and what to expect from the plaintiff’s bar in the next wave of Proposition 65 litigation.
Topics
• Are there risks associated with over-warning?
• How can businesses prepare for the new wave of Prop 65 litigation?
• How should the real estate industry and property owners prepare for the new requirements?
• What are the biggest challenges for the requirements as applied to consumer products?
