Malika Amaru is a Certified Paralegal, Legal Document Assistant, and Notary Public with more than 25 years of experience providing legal support services. She leads practical, hands-on training and compliance support for East Coast law firms with regional offices and litigation teams on the West Coast, with expertise in California state and federal court rules and multi-district litigation. A Bay Area native, Malika holds a B.A. and master’s degree in international relations, both earned while studying abroad in Paris. Her early career included work in international arbitration in France, followed by leadership roles in the California offices of several global law firms. Over two decades in Northern California’s public and private sectors have given her a deep, operational understanding of court procedures, trial preparation, case management, and firm litigation workflows. Malika is a trusted advisor on court rules and procedural compliance and has led the modernization of firmwide policy manuals, training programs, and standard operating procedures for litigation matters filed in California courts. She regularly delivers seminars, live trainings, and webinars tailored to paralegals, litigation teams, and legal support staff, focusing on practical skills and court-ready compliance.
This NON-CLE training will be held via Zoom from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM PT on March 30 and is FREE for members and $35 for non members. Registrants will receive their Zoom link three days before the event, and a reminder the morning of. See you there!
