Attend either seminar for 2 hours of Ethics MCLE
These seminars are designed for all persons working in the “Legal Field”: Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Document Assistants, and others. New ethics rules continue to develop for these workers and they must have a clear understanding of legal ethics. The seminar(s) will give guidance to legal professionals and fulfill the statutory requirements for mandatory continuing education in legal ethics.
Each two-hour seminar covers the California ethics rules and key cases in several areas: Regulation of legal workers in California, Unauthorized Practi...ce of Law (UPL), Confidentiality, Conflicts of Interest, Professionalism, etc.
Each seminar qualifies for two hours of MCLE in Ethics for lawyers as required by the State Bar of California. Each seminar also qualifies for two hours of continuing legal education in Ethics for paralegals as required by Business and Professions Code section 6450(d), and for two hours of continuing legal education for legal document assistants as required by Business and Professions Code section 6402.2.
