What were the legal issues at the forefront of the marquee trade secrets litigation between Waymo and Uber?  How can companies resolve the tension between California’s policies favoring employee mobility and protecting trade secrets?  What are some key aspects of presenting a trade secrets case at trial?  Join us to learn about these issues and more from two of Uber’s trial lawyers in Waymo v. Uber.

Meredith Dearborn

 

 Mededith Dearborn is a trial lawyer at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, which represents plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation in federal and state courts.  Meredith represented Uber Technologies and Ottomotto in Waymo v. Uber, which went to trial in federal district court in February of this year.  She has recently published articles in The Recorder on some aspects of the case: “Protecting Trade Secrets and Preventing Frontal Lobotomies” and “Between a Rock and a Hard Place: Protecting Employee Mobility and Negative Trade Secrets.”

 

 

 Maxwell Pritt

 

 Maxwell Prit is a trial lawyer at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, which represents plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation in federal and state courts.  Max represented Uber Technologies and Ottomotto in Waymo v.
